Early morning walk a few days ago, when we had the full moon. Such pretty colours in the sky that my phone couldn't capture the way they really looked.

Loved seeing my footsteps in the grass alongside Spot’s paw prints. We call him the zig-zag dog as he can’t seem to walk in a straight line. In true beagle spirit, there’s always something to stop and sniff.

Luckily, on this day, he didn't find any bird poop to roll around in 😆

The sewing book I referred to a lot when I was lea

The sewing book I referred to a lot when I was learning to sew - The Reader’s Digest Complete Guide to Sewing, 1984 edition. And I picked it up quite cheaply from an op shop. This was pre-internet days but I still reference it some 20 years later.

Over the weekend, I ran my first co-sewing session

Over the weekend, I ran my first co-sewing session over Zoom.

We both brought our own projects, chatted a bit, sewed a bit, and settled into a lovely rhythm.

There's something special about spending time with other sewists, talking about sewing, and actually sewing, without anyone having to leave home or pack up our gear.

In two hours, we both made real progress. And I learnt that marks from air erasable pens disappear very quickly on humid days 😂

The next co-sewing session is on Friday, 13th March, 10am - 12pm (ACDT, Adelaide time).
