I learnt to sew in high school, and my passion for it has only grown – through books, YouTube videos, workshops, online courses and a lot of practice (and a few flops along the way).

I love the process of sewing – the challenge, the focus and the creativity it brings. And I don’t mind the odd compliment or a bit of appreciation either.

Before running my own business, I worked as a computer programmer for over 20 years. After a few big life changes – including breast cancer treatment – I decided to combine my love of sewing with my technical background to create resources that make the creative process smoother and more enjoyable.
