I’m recovering from a cold and my brain is a bit fuzzy so it’s all I could do today.

My white denim style jacket is done. Fabric is a My white denim style jacket is done.

Fabric is a lovely textured cotton with coloured rain drops and silver dotted stars. I picked it up from this year’s fabric swap run by @adelaidesewcialclub which @skygarden_fabrics brought along.

🪡 KwikSew 2895
🪡 Third time using pattern
🪡 Overlocked every piece as it frayed when I looked at it 😊
🪡 Interlined with light cotton to prevent show through
🪡 Kam dk93 snap press with jeans die set to attach buttons (first time using this die set)
🪡 Double rows of white topstitching on flat felled seams
🪡 Faux chest pockets (didn’t want show through and I wouldn’t actually use them)

I do miss side seam pockets so I need to modify this one or try a new denim jacket pattern. Any suggestions?

The test is how I’ll keep it white. Will have to take it off on spaghetti night 🍝
At today’s co-sewing session I’ll be cutting out, At today’s co-sewing session I’ll be cutting out, and maybe sewing, this Vogue Katherine Tilton top.

Third time making this top, so I know it’s a quick sew, just what I needed.

It does use zipper tape on the neckband but I never have, just a strip of interfacing on the seam line and it’s stabilised.

Fabric of blue and white leaves, my favourite colours.
