Need to get some sewing patterns printed on A0?

I’ve got you covered.

I’ve compiled a list of Australian businesses that offer A0 printing for your sewing patterns. They can be printed in colour or black and white – it’s your choice. I recommend colour if the pattern has lots of intersecting lines; it just makes life easier.

You can have them posted to you, or if you’re lucky and have one nearby, you can pick them up and save on postage costs.

To make it super easy to help you decide which is the most affordable option, I’ve created a calculator where you can enter the number of pages to print, and it’ll give you an idea of how much it will cost. See below.

First things first, the list of suppliers.

I have no affiliation with any of these businesses and cannot guarantee quality. The only supplier I have personally used is Officeworks, and I have been very happy with the printing quality and quick turnaround times.

Printing A0 Sewing Patterns Calculator

The calculator is designed so that you can enter the number of pages you want to print (this can be for multiple patterns), and it will tell you approximately how much it will cost for pickup, if available, and to be posted to you.

Please note that prices might change, and the calculator only uses the postage cost of 1 printed page. I encourage you to use it as a guide and to do your due diligence when selecting a supplier.

How to Use the Calculator

Step 1 – Gather your patterns to be printed
One or more sewing patterns can be printed at once, so find all the ones you’d like printed.

Step 2 – Calculate how many pages to be printed
Open each sewing pattern PDF and count how many pages need to be printed. Remember, not all pages need to be printed if the design you are making isn’t on all pages. Total up the number of pages for the next step.

Step 3 – Enter the total number of printed pages into the calculator
Once you have downloaded the calculator and made your own copy, go to the page/sheet called Calculator; the link is at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

Enter the number of pages to print in the white box.

The list of suppliers will be shown with the pickup price and the price to be shipped.

Step 4 (optional) – Filter results
The results can be filtered even further to find exactly what you want.

Filter by Print Type – Choose to display suppliers and prices for colour printing, black & white printing, or to see everything, use Any (default).

Filter by Shipping Type – Choose to show Pickup Only suppliers or Pickup & Postage (default).

Step 5 – Order with the Supplier
Once you’ve chosen a supplier, use the link I’ve provided with the supplier name and put in your order. Some suppliers require emailing Sewing Pattern PDF’s to them, while others you can upload during the order process.

How to Change Suppliers in the Calculator

Suppliers and pricing can be changed, so you can add your favourite suppliers or update to the latest pricing.

Step 1 – Load the Suppliers page/sheet
The spreadsheet has a few pages/sheets. Go to the one labelled Suppliers (the link is near the bottom of the spreadsheet).

Step 2 – Add new Suppliers
Add new suppliers to the list, trying to fill in as much as possible. A maximum of 97 suppliers can be used.

Please don’t change the order of the columns, or it may break the calculator.

Step 3 – Delete Suppliers
Suppliers can also be deleted by deleting their contents, not the row itself.

Step 4 – Update Supplier Details
All of the details can be updated as you see fit.

IMPORTANT
Changes made to the list of Suppliers will not be immediately shown on the calculator. Refresh the browser window for the Calculator screen to reload the data.

Happy Printing!

Good luck with printing your A0 Sewing Patterns and getting them in your hot little hands as soon as possible so that you can start work on your next project.

Happy Sewing!
